  some things confuse me here.

  i am in the same position as many where i don't agree with so much the society says and feel stuck dragging myself to the meetings and then feel incredible guilt because the study for the day says it is wrong to have any doubts "even in private".

  Hi 5th, also new here still. But not new to Jah. My LOVE for him and Jesus is soooooooo overwelming because, NOW, I know, I fall under His Grace.

  I do not live under guilt and you cannot as well, because He loves you and your family that Jesus died for you. Wow.

  Had my tubes tied. So what!

  The only thing that Jah God is interested in, is, do you accept His Son as YOUR saviour. Yes! then do not worry about displeasing him, because you do not.

  Talking to you direct from the Spirit.

  Take care. I will pray for you. That is not just a Christian saying. I MEAN IT.

  Holy Spirit! Baptisim of fire??

  wanted to know if the holy spirit is the same thing when people talk about being babtised with fire.

  does'nt sound the same.. reason being is when i went to this church end jan i accepted jesus into my life (can you believe it, i was supposed to do that when i became a jw or when i got babtised in 1982. just recentley got announced that i am no longer a jw) anyway i felt then that i received the holy spirit and had it quicken in me.

  now other people say to me "have i been babtised in the holy spirit?

  hmike thanks, really good info you gave to me. That is what i was feeling like, lost and have to find my way around the bible myself, well with the Spirit in me teaching me etc, I was so used to the way JW teach, like bible studies, return visits etc that I think I expected it of this same fellowship I am in at the moment (still thinking of that though) yes need to walk and TRY and not just run ahead of myself. Just so excited that eyes are open to all these different things, which are new to me. ta

  What's your view on my "Being the Brother" issue that came up today?

  i'm in field service today and i'm not even the guy that took the group out, as a matter of fact, i show up late today as usual.

  well anyway, i'm assigned to be on another street with my mother and some other witnesses.

  at this point i'm the only brother because the other guy hasn't shown up yet.

  Hi, do what your Spirit tells you, but remember that if you are a JW then you will not have the Christ in you (hope this is not too harsh) because if you did you will not be telling other people what the org. believes. But your time is not yet, God will call you and when he does wow then you won't be able to stop. If feel strongley what Jeffacake said "to tell the ones who I taught and became a JW, that it was all liars. Yes I will do it.

  Wow Honesty, what a blessing. I never thought that I would get or have Christ live in me, but I have once I accepted him into my life. Its true what he says "Just believe".

  Have been praying for the gifts to be imparted to me, especially the one on insight into the scriptures, just feel the need to know EVERYTHING NOW. Prehaps I am holding back because of what I believed before, but praying for grace in that. Just have to wait and see, because that is what the Lord told me. Suppose I just want to rush Him because of the overwheming love I have.

  And thanks Narkissos, its easy when you see it in writing.

  You must know all this is sooooooo different to what we were taught as JW.

  honestly, do you think that jw's really like going to 3 or 4 day assemblies, especially when it's out of town, far away, and you have to take a motel room, and all the gas money and food money it takes, as well as having to sit down all day listening to endless talks...and that for 3 or 4 days in a row.. and often, they have to take a day off from work, to attend the friday meeting, so no pay for that day.. i think that the jw's are glad when it's finally over, not before.. .

  Only one assembly i enjoyed, was when it poured with rain and i was sitting on the grass, under an umbrella with black dustbin packets over the umbrella (so the rain did not pour in) pulled RIGHT DOWN to our face and slept.

  Most i disliked. Remember when I went out on the Friday night, drank a bit tooooo much, had to get up at the break of dawn (and I had just got home) and sit and try and listen without my head nodding, so I got wise that assembly, I took my dark glasses, lots of mints so my mom could not smell my breath and said I was really sick, slept on the blanket with my sisters little kids. ( sooooo glad she had little kids. I could sleep with them, because I was looking after them)

  Apart from that I WILL SAY AGAIN I DISLIKED THEM SO MUCH SO MUCH

  There is no motive: reason being is because they cannot think for themselves and have to have the org. think for them.

  Wish I was never associated with the JW, they should all be hiding their head's in SHAME, all the lies, decit, false prophet's they are.

  God KNOWS WHO YOU ARE and can read THEIR hearts, sinful, black as the pit, just like the dennis guy or girl (whoever) who posts and does not reply. They are the ones running scared. The big A is for people like you, hope to god you get thru to clean up all the bodies, (what a load of rubbish) Thank God I AM FREE. FREE. FREE.

  i can't understand why they have put this ad up on this site, as it is only people who are not jw who look at this site (and others) so why advertise "meet single jw just like you on this site".

  i thought maybe it was for single ex jw, so went into that site, and low and behold it was for jw only.

  they were saying something like this "... we would like to say thank you so much brothers for this site as i have meet my wife/husband etc ....and thank you so much jehovah..".

  but as I am sure you know if this guy of yours leaves the elders will seek him out to ask what is his intenstions: to stay in the org. or staying with you.

  What ever you do, dont just say to the elders that you want to get babtized, I am amazed that they or the "very concerned" sisters have not ask you already.

  i this is a best book and every one must read this.

  it will give you some questions and reasoning by which you can fight with jw.
